I’m thrilled with this ring. Its message: “I honor me.” I honor myself for the changes I’ve made and to the work I’ll do moving forward. And my hand looks like a million bucks!

EMERALD

Emeralds have been highly-coveted for many, many years. They are an incredibly rare stone, often rivaling the cost of fine diamonds. Elizabeth Taylor actually sold her Emerald necklace for $6,587,500, over $200,000 per carat! Emerald is the bluish-green to green variety of the mineral Beryl. It is associated with spring, symbolizing beauty and renewal. Cleopatra had a huge fondness for Emerald, and the oldest one was found 2.97 billion years ago, in South Africa. It is the birthstone for May, and celebrates the 55th wedding anniversary. Emerald has a hardness of 7.5-8.0. Although it has a good hardness, the toughness is pretty low. This gemstone requires special care and is not suited for everyday wear. More about Emerald HERE
