SPHENE
Sphene is a very rare, incredibly sparkly, collector’s gemstone. It is found in yellowish-green, green, orange or brown colors, and is known as “titanite” in the mineral world. It has more “fire” than a diamond because it has one of the highest dispersions of any gemstone. It’s this high dispersion that gives Sphene such an intense “fire,” showcasing multiple colors, especially when it’s well-cut. A true rarity in the gemstone world. Sphene is said to facilitate altered states of awareness, visionary travel and journeying. Sphene requires special care and is not suited for everyday wear. More about sphene HERE
